Abstract

There are no formal publications describing and discussing the various ethical dilemmas encountered when treating dermatologic disease with biologic therapy. Multiple issues such as safety, efficacy, drug accessibility, and cost need to be considered when prescribing biologics. This contribution uses a case-based approach to evaluate the ethical principles involved with biologic therapy. © 2012 .
