Abstract

This paper proposes a set of relatively complete "green university" index system referencing to a series of standards of urban and community construction in China, provides indicators' names and connotations, computing method, standard value, and standard grading of the index system, and establishes a comprehensive evaluating approach for "green university". We employ the establishment index system in Tianjin Polytechnic University (TPU) for assessing its new campus. Full permutation polygon synthesis illustration method is adopted to make evaluation result quite clear for stakeholders. The result shows that comparing to the old site the new campus' construction of TPU meets "green university" building requirements such as water-saving, power-saving, land-saving, energy-saving, environmental protection and pleasant ecological environment.
