Abstract

In mobile agent environment, an agent is not isolate in finishing computing tasks. It often needs to interact information with other agents and the environment. It has been proved that the tuple-based interaction model is the most suitable model for mobile agent system. In this paper, the Linda-like Tuple Space is firstly extended to an Intelligent Tuple Space (ITS) which has abilities of not only reaction but also reasoning and learning. Then the ITS is used as a media to support interactions between mobile agents and interactions between mobile agents and system resources. Actually, the ITS is loose coupled to mobile agent environment, it can also be used to solve security, efficiency and flexibility problems in any heterogeneous environments including mobile agent system. ©2009 IEEE.
