Abstract
*[The short history of investigation of myrmecofauna in the Republic of Macedonia is presented, along with an updated list of recorded ant taxa. A total of 78 species (in Dolichoderinae, Formicinae, Myrmicinae, Ponerinae) is known from the the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.]
