Abstract

The article presents information on the everyday activities in the office of the newspaper "The Australian." Editor Michael Stutchbury's large office remains full of clocks, cluttered desks, chattering televisions and people bent intently over computers. Editorial teams of the newspaper are always in a hurry due to their deadlines. In the daily search for breaking news, the newspaper's 60 news journalists, including 10 foreign correspondents, work incredibly hard.
