Abstract

The morphological variability of marine and maritime lichens of the genera Verrucaria (11 species) and Collemopsidium (2 species) found on the coast of Galicia (NW Spain) is studied and the conflicting information encountered in the literature discussed. A dichotomous, but multi-entry, identification key for the taxa is included, which takes this variability into account. © 2005 J. Cramer in der Gebrüder Borntraeger Verlagsbuchhandlung.
