Abstract

In this work, we studied soft magnetic CoP alloys prepared through electrodeposition on Si substrates with a NiCu buffer layer. AFM and AGFM measurements showed compact and granular layers with a coercive field of 10 Oe for thicknesses higher than 1500 nm. A magnetoimpedance effect of about 5% was observed for a measuring frequency of 1.8 GHz. © 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
