Abstract

Neuroelectric blocking activity, similar in nature to that previously observed in sera from patients with multiple sclerosis, has been observed in sera from 18 patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Results concerning the application of plasma exchange to this patient population are also described. © 1980 American Academy of Neurology.
