Abstract

Fluorescence modulation has been used to optically detect excited state paramagnetic resonance of Er3+in LiYF4. Ground state EPR has been similarly detected both through resonant reabsorption of the fluorescence and memory effects active over the optical absorption-emission cycle. © 1975.
