Abstract

The article discusses a study on the attitude of pediatric nurses toward hospice and pediatric palliative care in Florida. The study used a survey instrument with five statements from an instrument developed by Ogle and colleagues, and examined nurses employed by the Children's Medical Services Network (CMSN). Several programs, including Florida's Partners in Care: Together for Kids (PIC:TFK) and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) are also discussed.
