Reviews the book The Politics of Climate Change by Anthony Giddens (2009). Noel Castree provides a negative review of Gidden's most recent work, arguing that Giddens relies on his scholarly reputation to advance unfounded irrelevant arguments. For example, Castree finds Giddens' argument that there is a lack of policy on climate change as unjustified. Castree argues that Gidden's text attempts to inform policy makers, administrators and civil servants of intelligent policy decisions, however, Castree finds the text fails to offer innovative ideas and rather regurgitates information from previous publications.
