Abstract

HDO Productions from Northbrook. Ill., accepted a commission to protect a construction site at the Great Lakes Training Center from the harsh Chicago winter. The tent company installed a structure over the work site, which was a small arms firing range at the naval center. The heated, clear-span tent had a custom-cut large door to allow equipment access. Removal of the tent frame assemblies had to be undertaken with a crane.
