Integrins and Rho family GTPases function coordinately to mediate adhesion-dependent events in cells. Recently, it has also become apparent that integrins regulate Rho GTPases and vice versa. Integrins and GTPases might therefore be organized into complex signaling cascades that regulate cell behavior. Copyright (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
