Abstract

(Figure Presented) Amazing anatase: Anatase TiO2 tubular structures made up of microcrystallites with a high percentage of {001} facets were synthesized by a simple one-step hydrothermal process with ZrO2 fibers as a template (see graphic). The morphologies, structures and growth procedures were systematically investigated, and a plausible mechanism for the formation of these structures was proposed. © 2010 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH&Co.
