Abstract

Three infants in whom a congenital anorectal stenosis was associated with a sacral defect and a presacral mass are described. The mass was a meningocele in the first case, a teratoma in the second, and an enteric cyst in the third. On the basis of these cases and similar material in the literature, we suggest that this association of anomalies may represnt a syndrome complex with a common embryogenesis.
