In this study, optimization of the vehicle power system control was tried for the purpose of performance improvement of the electric micro bus “WEB” developed by NEDO’s support. Here, some energy flow control methods in consideration of vehicle running states were proposed for WEB which has two kinds of energy storage equipment (high energy density and high power density) connected by a Buck/Boost converter. The performance of the proposed control method was verified by chassis dynamo examination.
