Abstract

The article discusses the setting up of American democracy to the people in Puerto Rico. According to the article, the issue has been widely debated in the state, where people question about the interpretation, constitutional structure and election law of the new form of governance. In addition, it affirms that government officials have been continuously deliberating on the pros and cons of being a democratic nation.
