Abstract

The British Government launched the first phase of its 5 year plan to allow its 60 million citizens and 3 million businesses to access its services using the Internet. The plan envisions citizens paying taxes, farmers applying for subsidies, and businesses submitting value added taxes all using a secure wb-based platform designed by Microsoft.
