Abstract

The article presents an installment in a series of articles concerning the significance of strategic planning for businesses, that appear in "Chesapeake Business Ledger," published by Chesapeake Publishing Corp. in Easton, Maryland . It stated that business plan provides a direction for business. One of the biggest reasons why businesses fail is the lack of a business plan. It suggested several plans in making decisions, determining budget expenditures, and measuring performance against goals. It includes vision and mission, objectives, strategies, and action plans.
