Abstract

With the development of Internet, an increasing of corporations has held innovation contest to gain innovative ideas, products, and technology improvement scheme. They do have gat satisfying results. Innovation contest is now gradually becoming an effective way for companies to gain innovation. Because the purpose of innovation is diverse, the contest is not a single mode. This paper is a basic research for innovation contest mode, which divides contest into four modes according to the two dimensions the stage of innovation and the internal or external company. And each model is described in detail and in case of evidence in this paper. © 2011 IEEE.
