Journalists can make or break an enterprise or a reputation, yet they are inexcusably reluctant to acknowledge their errors, and ridiculously modest in presenting corrections when at last they do. Overholser encourages journalists to get past this level of pride and give news subjects a fair shot at balanced treatment.
