CGER is a peer-reviewed, annual, academic publication addressing issues that concern the teaching of game design and development. These include, but are not limited to, curriculum organization, teaching methodologies (e.g., conceptual vs. exemplary), assessment tools and techniques, game genres and classifications, societal impact, economic and commercial issues, legal aspects, and approaches to student evaluation that are of interest to faculty and institutions involved in the education and training of future game developers.
