Abstract

The article discusses the author's experience of working with interpreters. He viewed the interpreter as an obstacle to the still unformed relationship with the client. The only means used by the author to assess whether the interpreter is not betraying what the client says is his approximate perception of the length of the translation. Translators bring the possibility of losing something in translation.
