Abstract

Because these sociocultural contexts define the family, they can guide systemic interventions. We propose that incorporating genograms into this multicultural perspective (Le., recording sociocultural infm;mation into a genogram, a multicultural genogram) can result in a more meaningful understanding of the family, and, subsequently, more effective intervention.
