The authors have developed a multiblock copolymer whose surface properties are antithrombogenic. The experiments reported here are concerned with characterizing the nature of the plasma protein adsorption onto this charged surface material in vitro. The Gel Permiate Chromatogram (GPC) showed plasma protein, especially albumin, was remarkably adsorbed onto the plus-charged surface material. The authors have also performed a Lee-White test of the relative coagulation time of their polymer with encouraging results.
