Abstract

One of the most significant in the teaching-learning process in the institutes and university faculties Subsystem Health is training students in the capacity of autopreparación conscious and systematic manner. The purpose of this study is to use concept maps as a teaching strategy to improve understanding of the contents of General Chemistry students in the career of Technology Degree in Health and contribute to learning development. The experience was developed in two groups of the specialties of Clinical Microbiology and Citohistopatología creating the minimum conditions required so that students will come to the knowledge in the shortest time possible, since the subject is taught in 30 class-hours. The result was up 15 concept maps showing the development of the General Chemistry course by the use of concept maps helped students is an active subject of their own learning, which we encourage the learning developer. In both experiments, in general, an increase in the number of pupils with notes 4 and 5. (English) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
