Abstract

This article was originally presented orally by Shinzen Young as the opening talk of a retreat he led, on the practice of Vipassana meditation. The editor decided to retain its flavor as a talk by keeping intact the conversational aspects of the presentation as it was first given. © 1994, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
