Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of joint frame synchronization and phase ambiguity resolution for high data rate MPSK systems. We presents a novel method of utilizing a simplified correlation operation which can reduce the computational complexity and use two thresholds to detect the frame starting point and the value of phase ambiguity simultaneously. The parallel architecture of frame synchronizer which can simultaneously perform phase ambiguity resolution has been designed for high data rate systems. From the results of the simulation, we make the conclusion that it can work effectively as we expected. © 2010 IEEE.
