Abstract

A comparison is made of the spectroscopic signs of ordered conformational states of dextran macromolecules manifest in the spectra of combination scatter of the crystalline modifications obtained from an aqueous solution without additions of salts and with the addition of KCl. It is shown that in solution with addition of KCl and in the crystalline modification appearing during crystallization from solution without salt at raised temperature similar ordered conformational states of the dextran macromolecules are realized. The X-ray data on crystalline dextrans encountered in the literature are systematized. From these data the authors establish the type of crystalline modification obtained from solution with addition of KCl. © 1985.
