Abstract

Dinghu nature reserve in Zhaoqing city was chosen as the regional environmental background of organic pollutant valuation in aerosols in Pearl River Delta area. Results of study indicate that background values of priority PAHs, in aerosols in Pearl River Delta area, including naphthalene, acenaphthylene, acenaphthene(dihydroacenaphthylene), fluorene, phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, pyrene, benzo(a)anthracene, chrysene, benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(k)fluoranthene, benzo(a)pyrene, indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyrene, dibenzo(a,h)anthracene and benzo(ghi)perylene, are n.d., n.d., n.d., tr., 0.14, tr., 0.39, 0.53, 0.19, 1.05, 1.82, 1.41, 0.02, 2.29, 0.53 and 2.44ng/m super(3), respectively; and the total value is 10.80ng/m super(3). They come mainly from emission of higher plant.
