Abstract
Only one species of thrips was previously recorded from Lord Howe Island, but notes on a further 33 species in 26 genera are given. Most are introduced, either tropical 'tramps' or from mainland Australia, but a few are endemics with some indication of faunal relationships with New Zealand and New Caledonia.
