Abstract
The article discusses the risk management and mitigation approach in cloud computing. It provides an overview of the features of cloud computing which offer many benefits such as cost reduction and service flexibility. It cites a number of recommendations for managing cloud computing risk including the assessment of all relevant contractual documents, ensuring the alignment of service availability with the customer's expectations, and establishment of appropriate service levels.
