Abstract

Developing, using and maintaining knowledge is critical to compete in today's business climate (Day, 1994; Senge, 1990; Stata, 1989). Global business leaders such as Xerox, Merck, Shell Oil and Arthur Andersen S. C. recognize this need, and are building learning organizations as part of their central strategy for achieving performance excellence.
