Abstract
Suggests that those counselors excited by Dr. Berg's review, in the Fall issue, of Counseling the Dying will quite probably greatly appreciate reading "Treatment of a dying patient" by Janice Norton in The Psychoanalytic Study of the Child, 1963, volume 18, 541-546 (New York: International Universities Press). This extremely sensitive, lucid, and learned exposition highlights many of the difficulties outlined by Dr. Berg.
