Abstract

Acrylamide-intercalated graphite oxide and polyacrylamide-intercalated graphite oxide nanocomposites have been prepared by exfoliation/absorption process and in situ polymerization method, respectively, and both characterized by X-ray diffraction. The results show that the polymerization process changed the orientation of the intercalated molecules. © 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
