Abstract
This paper presents new approaches in service-oriented architecturedomain area, focusing on technologies, which would be useful forinteroperability among water decision support systems. Present demandson modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) infrastructuredrive migration from the conventional n-tier systems to a service-orientedcomputing paradigm, described in terms of service-oriented architecture(SOA), infrastructure, process, and management. Environmental businessprocess orchestration becomes an efficient way of combining securityrequirements on communication in crisis management structure. Furthermore,we mention how service-oriented portals integrate inflexible heterogeneoussystems and thus help enterprises to unlock the functionality ofexisting legacy applications. Portals can leverage orchestrationof underlying middleware components by being the single place whereusers interact with business processes using a standardized interface.Appropriate communication within the system in environmental decisionsupport system is essential for minimization of disaster effects.Decision support systems finding the optimal strategies are mainlybased on artificial intelligence computation technologies, whichare extremely computations demanding. That is why we need to designinteroperable structure in the context of service based communication.Case study of system structure providing evolution programming computationbackground for the environmental decision support tasks is presentedin the paper.
