Abstract

A study of three-dimensional magneto-thermal finite element phenomena is presented. The (A.V-A) formulation using the Impedance Boundary Condition (TBC) is applied to multiply connected regions. From the exterior inductor voltage and the current density distribution, the impedance and the total power of the induction heating devices are calculated. © 1996 IEEE.
