Abstract

This work presents a planning model for adaptive virtual courses, which is personalized according to each student's own characteristics (such as psychopedagogical and the goals obtained, expressed in terms of Educational Objectives). The process of generating the courses is built by using Artificial Intelligence techniques, specifically Intelligent Planning. The model was validated in the experimental platform SICAD (Sistema Inteligente de Cursos ADaptativos, that is, Intelligent System for Adaptive Courses), which is presented in the final section. © 2007 IEEE.
