Analysis and Improvement of Semantic Links in a Web-scale Data Network

by Christophe Guéret, Paul Groth, Jens Lehmann, Michael Hausenblas
Information Systems Journal (2011)

Abstract

Linked Data is a data network containing facts about entities, such as people, books, genes, locations, etc. In particular the network contains semantic links between entities in different datasets, for example between a person and a book, the former being the author of the latter. In this poster, we describe our ongoing work within the LATC project concerning the creation of such semantic links on a large scale, as well as improving quality of those links by means of semi-automated mechanisms.
