Abstract
This paper is concerned with the analysis of survey data, where some variables are dependent (response) variables and others are explanatory. We describe how survey data can differ from other types of data, and the implications of this for analysis. Next we deal with methods for selecting explanatory variables (both interactive and automatic). Finally, various modelling approaches are described. © 1995 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
