Abstract

In the last years, a large number of applications (like robotic search and rescue operations, car safety systems, robotic space missions etc.) have been required an autonomous dynamic behavior of the motion in order to achieve their final particular objectives. In what follows, the aim of this paper is to present the design and implementation of a new autonomous robotic system that, besides its self-ruling behavior, also allows for an external (radio) remote control. © 2010 IEEE.
