Benchmarking e-Learning in UK higher education

Abstract

In early 2006 a new programme was launched aimed at benchmarking e-learning development across the UK higher education sector. The programme represents an early stage in the Higher Education Funding Council for England ten-year e-learning strategy, acknowledging the need to take stock of progress.
