Abstract
The article reviews the experience of foreign counties in eco-frienly construction, estimates the impact of building and its environment on human health and nature. It also analyzes the usage of building materials made from renewable raw materials in construction, considers the usage of alternative energy resources. The article presents a project carried out in Lithuania which has primary objectives to create a waste-free, eco-effective neigbourhood with the least energy consumption by using an alternative energetics and affecting the envirment favorably.
