Abstract

An attempt is made to compare assessed SPICE process capabilities and CMM maturity levels. First, the structures of both models are studied on a conceptual level. Following this, processes and capability levels are analyzed using processes related to the management of customer requirements as an example. Actual assessment findings are used to illustrate differences and similarities in the assessment results.
