Abstract

Is the classroom a place where your students want to be ? How can we Improve language acquisition In an atmosphere which the students feel attracted to ? Consider some pointers : 1 : Students should get to know each other through the medium of English. 2 : The should also look at each other when they talk to each other 3 : Teachers should aim to minimise student embarrassment when they say something wrong. There's nothing wrong with a wrong answer ! 4 : If a student says something that Is not clear, other students should be encouraged to ask the unclear one directly for a repeat, and not do this through the teacher . 5 : As much as possible, make students the source of classroom InformationVos étudiants ont-ils envie d'être dans la classe ? Comment améliorer leprocessus d'acquisition de la langue en créant une ambiance qui leur plaît Quelques conseils pratiques :1 -Il est souhaitable que les étudiants fassent connaissance en utilisantl'anglais comme moyen de communication2 : Il est souhaitable qu'ils se regardent lorsqu'ils se parlent3 : Les professeurs devraient veiller à minimiser la gêne des étudiants quidisent quelque chose de faux. Une mauvaise réponse n'est pas grave.4 : Si un étudiant dit quelque chose de peu clair, Il faudrait encourager lesautres étudiants à demander directement à l'interlocuteur qui n'a pas été clair de répéter au lieu de passer par l'intermédiaire du professeur.5 : Utiliser autant que possible les étudiants comme source d'informationpour les cours.
