Abstract

In the design of hybrid processes, performance of each constituent element need to be taken into account and the optimisation of the design must take into consideration their interdependency. In this paper, we focus on two kinds of hybrid process systems: reaction-separation and separation-separation. The general systematic method along with used computer aided techniques is presented.
