Abstract

This paper deals with the development and environmental variables involved in designing the housing layout form. It is considered that the factors taken into consideration and the crileria used in the course of decision-making in creating and reshaping the residential environments should be systematically tested in the light of the needs and social goals of the community. As the main potential of the computer lies in the process of analysis and appraisal the main objective of this study is to evaluate the quality and performance of the physical environment by means of utilizing computer techniques. © 1986.
