Abstract
The research investigates if and to what extent the current state of the sprinkled surface and the temperature of the water used can influence the level of interception. The analysis was based on a series of experiments undertaken in laboratory conditions. Photographic documentation has recorded the angle at which water droplets at different temperatures hit the surface of leaves and needles of beech, oak, fir, pine and spruce.
