Abstract

The article presents research on the impact of exercise induced muscle damage protocol on postactivation potentiation (PAP) response in elite sports in Australia. Results of the study indicate the decline of countermovement jump (CMJ) performance due to pre-fatiguing protocol, the improvement of CMJ performance because of heavy load squatting, and the significance of rest periods in post conditioning contraction.
