Abstract

Background: Home-based physical activity (PA) programs are an attractive strategy for older adults. PA adherence may be improved by interventions that increase self-efficacy. We investigated the effects of a 6-month home-based walking program followed by 6-months’ maintenance on two measures of PA self-efficacy in inactive 50–80 year olds.
